Wanted for Robbery (2013/07/23)

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted for the robbery of the Fair Deal Liquor, 7939 W. 10th Street. Indianapolis, Indiana.  On June 30th, 2013, two men entered the business armed with guns. The man with the handgun, (identified, deceased), fired one shot in the business. Upon leaving, the man in the gray hoodie carjacked a customer’s white 2005 Ford Taurus, Indiana plate VNN642, after assaulting the owner by striking him in the head with the gun. The man with the shotgun took the money and fled west bound from the business on foot.

 

The remaining suspect is a black male wearing a dark jacket with white lettering on it. He was armed with a shotgun.

Theft from Vehicles at the Indianapolis Zoo (2013/07/10)

The Indiana State Police, Capitol Police Section is asking for the public’s help in identifying two women wanted for Theft. On June 21st, officers from the Capitol Police Section responded to the Indianapolis Zoo located at 1200 West Washington Street on a report of multiple cars broken into by locks being removed. Items taken included several debit and credit cards. The two women used the cards at the Speedway Station on West Washington Street and a Wal-Mart Store. They purchased $1,500 in gift cards at Wal-Mart for various retail establishments

Rape (2013/07/09)

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying this man wanted for the rape of a twelve-year-old girl in the 3100 block of Dr. Andrew J. Brown. On June 19th, 2013 at around 8:00 p.m. a twelve-year-old-girl was walking in the area when an unidentified man forced the girl into a secluded area of an alley and sexually assaulted her.

On may 15th, 2013 at 4:00am this man dropped off the vicitm of a rape at the Crystal Flash 3500 N. Shadeland Av. the man is wanted for questioning in regards to that rape.He left driving a gold late model 4dr sedan.

Suspect is described as a black male 5`10" to 6`0" 200-225lbs and was armed withwith a black semi-automatic handgun.

Fraud (2013/05/28)

 

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public`s help in identifing two men wanted in connection with a credit card fraud at the Target store, 4850 E Southport Rd. On May 6th, 2013, the vicitm made a report to the Greenwood Police Department that her credit cards and identification were stolen from her place of emplotyment. On May 7th, 2013, the two men depicted were seen on surveillance video from the Target store attempting to use some of the stolen credit cards

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men wanted for Robbery. On April 19, 2013, two men entered the Family Dollar at 5102 East 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN, armed with black semi automatic handguns.  One man demanded money from the cashier, while the other man forced another employee to kneel behind the register.  They fled with cash in an older model grey or silver vehicle, possibly an Oldsmobile.

Robbery (2013/05/07)

:  The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying three men wanted for Armed Robbery. On May 2nd, 2013, three men entered the Antiques on the Corner business located at 8444 E Washington St armed with handguns. They demanded cash from the register and the safe. They forced the employee to lay on the floor at gun point. They also took jewelry and antique coins. The men fled in a gold minivan, model unknown.

 

Suspect# 1 is a black male, wearing a black stocking cap, red hoodie, red cloth mask, gloves, light colored cargo pants and dark/light shoes. Suspect# 2 is a black male, wearing a gray hoodie, dark cargo pants, white gloves, and dark shoes with white soles. Suspect#3 is a black male wearing a dark green hoodie, gray shorts, mask, white gloves and shoes that appeared to have a plaid design.

:  The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for Robbery. On April 4, 2013, a man walked into the Speedway at 441 East Hanna Avenue in Indianapolis, IN. and asked for two cartons of cigarettes.  When the clerk asked the man for the money he pulled out a knife and demanded the money from the cash register.  The man left the business northbound in a maroon 4-door vehicle with a rear spoiler and an “IN GOD WE TRUST” license plate.

 

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, 6-feet tall weighing 170 pounds with a thin beard and goatee. He was wearing a tan hooded jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Wanted for Robbery (2013/04/23)

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for Robbery. On March 28, 2013, a man walked into the La Posada at 2105 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN, went to the counter, pulled out a large black automatic handgun from a computer bag and demanded money. The victim put the money in the bag and the suspect left on foot in an unknown direction.

 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, 5-feet-3 inches tall to 5-feet-6-inches tall weighing 165 to 175 pounds. The suspect had facial hair, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “MTV” on the front, blue jeans, dark shoes, a dark glove on his right hand, and a black computer bag over his shoulder.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for Rape. On July 15, 2012, the victim was walking on Concord Street sometime in the evening when she was approached by a man who brandished a revolver, ordered her into 915 North Concord Street, where he raped her.

 

The suspect is described as a black male, gray hair cut in a fade, saggy eyes, goatee, a gold front tooth, and the letters “SC” tattooed on the right side of his neck.

Area law enforcement agencies are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted for Theft and Fraud. The suspect is sought in connection to car break-ins in the Greenwood area where the suspect steals credit cards from the vehicles and buys merchandise with them. The suspect may be part of a small group of subjects doing the break-ins. The suspect is described as a black female driving either a white or light silver late model Dodge Ram quad cab pick-up truck.

Who Killed Thomas Tefft (2013/03/26)

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Unit on March 15, 2013, at approximately 6:40 a.m. during a home invasion robbery, Thomas Tefft, was shot to death in his home at 7822 Harcourt Spring Place, Indianapolis, IN. During the robbery the suspect stole the victim’s black 2009 Hyundai Sonata which was recovered several days later.   The suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s wearing a black stocking cap, something over his face and a gray hooded jacket.

Wanted for Fraud (2013/03/19)

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for theft and fraud.  On February 2nd, 2013 the suspect broke into a car at the LA Fitness at 9030 Rockville Road. He went immediately to the Speedway gas station at 10th Street and Girls School Road and used the victim’s credit card to purchase $200.00 worth of prepaid credit cards. He then used another one of the victim’s credit cards to purchase $60.00 worth of gas. He was last seen driving a silver Chevy Impala 4-door.
